Hazet manufactures a small range of 1/4" drive tools in stainless steel. These tools are used on boats and industrial applications in corrosive environment. These tools are also used in applications where stainless steel screws are processed to reduce the risk of corrosion of the screws.
Hazet claims that these tools have up to 20% higher torque values in the range of HINOX® tools (static charge). Having the same hardness, high-grade stainless steel provides better mechanical strength properties than the standard material (31 CrV 3). Therefore you have a safer application and a reduction of the risk of injury.
The Serviceable life is up to three times higher as measured in a continuous load test.
Further benefits include an environmentally friendly fabrication without surface coating and thus no allergic reactions due to chemical coatings.
